We reserve the right to deny refund requests where there is clear evidence of abusive or fraudulent use of the Service - for example, automated or scripted access, bulk export or scraping of scan results or backtest data, attempts to circumvent usage limits, repeated refund cycling across multiple accounts, or behavior indicating the account was created primarily to extract value and then request a refund.
This exception is intended to apply only in narrow cases of clear abuse. Ordinary legitimate use of the Service remains fully covered by the 14-day money-back guarantee. For example, if you actively used SwingMentalist Pro during the refund window - including running manual scans, reviewing watchlists, testing scan presets, or exploring the backtester - and decided the Service was not right for you, your refund request will be honored in accordance with this Policy.
You have two equally valid options - use whichever is easier for you:
Either way, you do not have to explain why - we will honor any request made inside the 14-day window. A one-line note about what didn't work for you is optional but appreciated; it helps us improve the product.
Once approved, the refund is initiated by Paddle (our payment processor and Merchant of Record). Funds typically return to your original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
When your refund is processed, your Pro access is removed immediately and your account reverts to the Free tier. Your workspace data (journal entries, notes, watchlists, drawings) remains intact within Free-tier limits - nothing is deleted.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. We recommend cancelling at least one day before renewal if you don't want to be charged again. You can cancel from your account settings in one click - no email required.
After the 14-day initial window, we do not provide refunds for partial unused periods of a monthly subscription. Your Pro access continues through the end of the period you've already paid for, and the subscription does not renew.
The 14-day money-back guarantee covers the entire first annual charge. After day 14, we do not refund the unused portion of an annual plan as a matter of course. However, if you've experienced a serious problem with the Service (extended downtime, a billing error, or a feature regression that materially affects you), email us and we will review your case on a discretionary basis.
Paddle, our payment processor, sends an email reminder several days before each renewal so you have time to decide whether to continue. We recommend keeping the email address on your account up to date and adding [email protected] to your safe-senders list.
If a renewal payment fails, Paddle will retry the charge a few times over the following days and notify you by email. If the payment still fails, your subscription will be cancelled and your account will revert to the Free tier. No action from you is required and you will not be billed retroactively.
If you believe a charge was made in error, please email us first - we can usually resolve the issue within a day. Initiating a chargeback through your bank instead of contacting us may result in your account being suspended pending review and may make you ineligible for future use of the Service.
Refunds are issued in the original transaction currency. Taxes (VAT, sales tax, GST) that Paddle collected on your purchase are refunded together with the principal amount. Currency-conversion fees or banking fees charged by your card issuer are not refundable by us; contact your bank for details on those.
If you are a consumer resident in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you may also have a statutory right to withdraw from a digital-services contract within 14 days of subscribing. Our money-back guarantee is at least as favorable as your statutory rights; exercising one does not affect the other.
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Any change will apply only to subscriptions purchased on or after the new effective date - existing subscribers keep the refund terms in force on the date they subscribed.
